The Gion Festival drawn by woodblock print artist Kenji Takenaka

A work that boldly deforms the large wheels that support the halberd.
The floats are described as "moving art museums" as they gracefully parade along Miyakooji. The structure is also beautiful down to the smallest detail, and is filled with craftsmanship and deep wisdom that are common to traditional architecture.
