MOCAD ONLINE SHOP is an online store operated by the Kyoto Museum of Crafts and Design.
At the Kyoto Museum of Crafts and Design, as a hub for the promotion of Kyoto’s traditional industries, we are committed to revitalizing these industries by offering exhibitions and sales of crafts as well as demonstrations by artisans.
We believe that traditional materials and techniques should not only be preserved but also actively utilized in order to be handed down to the future. Through the MOCAD ONLINE SHOP, operated by the Kyoto Museum of Crafts and Design, we aspire to be an online store that delivers not only the products themselves but also the stories and the spirit of the makers behind them.

京都伝統産業ミュージアムでは、京都の伝統産業の振興拠点として、工芸品の展示販売や職人実演を見学してもらうことで、京都の伝統産業の活性化に取り組んでいます。伝統的な素材・技法は、保存するだけでなくそれを活用してこそ未来へ継承することができると考えます。京都伝統産業ミュージアムが運営する MOCAD ONLINESHOP では、製品の向こう側にあるストーリーやつくり手の想いも一緒に届けるオンラインショップでありたいと考えます。
