- CREATORS INFO
This set includes a cute half-moon shaped comb and a special case.
It is pocket-sized, making it convenient to carry around.
The case is designed so that the comb can be inserted from the side. You can choose from a cherry blossom small pattern (red) or a dot small pattern (red).
The domestically produced Satsuma wood is left to rest for over 10 years after being sawn before being carefully finished and processed.
This shop is the only one in Kyoto that produces combs that are produced in an integrated manner, from cutting boxwood into boards, inserting teeth, and then finishing them into combs through an incredibly painstaking process of handwork.

"Jusanya"
"Jusanya" has long been used as the name of a comb shop in various regions.
Founded in 1875 , the shop is currently run by the fifth generation.
The boxwood used is selected from logs over 30 years old that are grown in Ibusuki, southern Kyushu, and then sawn and smoked to make the comb material. It is then left to rest for over 10 years.
This is the only shop in Kyoto that produces combs from boxwood boards, inserts teeth into them, and then uses a mind-boggling amount of manual labor to complete the entire process. "Jusanya" and That's all.
