¥6,050A paper fan made in collaboration with Torie, a kimono maker in Osaka.
The pronominal cat of Torie.
I arranged the cat like a circle crest. The bold gradation is inspired by Kyoto Yuzen dyeing.
It's just the right size (about 22 cm) to carry around.
The cat on the fan is screen-printed, and the reverse side is using a technique called "shikebiki," craftsmen layer multiple colors with a brush to create the hazy effect.

When you take out a fan, please put it in a bag.
After use, please put seme paper (silver paper) on it, and the tendency to open will subside.
Be careful not to get wet or fire.
