The rich brown glaze is made using ash from the wood-burning stove at a café attached to the artist's studio in Sumiyama, Kyoto. Created by reusing locally available resources, this natural ash glaze gives the cup its distinctive color and character.

The white and blue sections feature a matte finish, adding a soft, gentle texture.

Presented in an original paper box, this cup also makes a thoughtful gift.
