京都市産業技術研究所の釉薬研究とそれを学ぶ京焼・清水焼の若手職人たちのものづくりへの挑戦を紹介する展覧会「テストピース ～感性とサイエンスが繋ぐものづくり～」を京都伝統産業ミュージアムにて開催
At the Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts, from November 1, 2022 (Tuesday), the "test piece" of glaze research owned by the local independent administrative agency Kyoto City Industrial Technology Research Institute and the "Kyo ware / Kiyomizu ware" to learn it. We will hold an exhibition "Test Piece-Manufacturing that connects sensibility and science-" focusing on the craftsmanship of young craftsmen.
In addition to exhibiting the works of three artists who have completed the "Ceramics Course", a training program for fostering successors of traditional industrial techniques conducted by the Institute of Industrial Science, we will introduce the real "manufacturing" that makes use of the knowledge and skills acquired. In addition, for a limited time, the museum shop and online shop will sell some of the products exhibited in this exhibition, as well as the works of the trainees.
