Geishado's "Mamehon Series" is a small picture book that fits in the palm of your hand.
The genius of rough brush strokes, Kakusai's gentle brushstrokes, "rakuga-shiki," was a very popular Edo series that is said to have inspired "Hokusai Manga."
This is a reprint of the Edo version cut collection that makes you laugh, such as Shinsen, sumo wrestlers, street vendors, chanbara, daimyo processions, etc.
*The Mamehon series is not hand-printed.
