Pure silk drawstring bag with "Genjikozu" design / no.0770

This is a drawstring bag made of "Min-tsuzure" weave.

There are many types of tsuzure weaving, including Hontsuzure, Tsuzure Nishiki, Tsumekaki Tsuzure, and Mintsuzure, but Mintsuzure has very thin warp threads, with about four times the number of warp threads per inch as Hontsuzure. Because the weft threads are woven to these thin warp threads, the finished product is softer than Hontsuzure and is characterized by its ability to express intricate patterns.

Drawstring bags can be used for a variety of purposes, such as a bag-in-bag or as a makeup pouch.
