- CREATORS INFO
This is a large brooch made by hardening and shaping leather with lacquer.
”Byakudan-nuri” is a technique where gold leaf or patterns are applied beneath transparent lacquer, allowing one to enjoy its refined, subtly translucent luster.
The body is made of leather, so it is lightweight and does not put strain on clothing.
A design suitable for all ages.
It comes with a package, so it's also recommended as a gift.

From creating the base of wood and dry lacquer sculptures, we use decorative techniques such as lacquering, maki-e, raden (spiral painting), carved lacquer, and zonsei (decorative painting).
I also create works using different materials and in collaboration with different industries, not just existing lacquer crafts. I work on a wide range of products, from household fixtures to objects and decorative items.
