つづれ織というと、本綴、綴錦、爪掻綴、明綴など様々ありますが、明綴織は縦糸がとても細く、1寸辺りの縦糸の数が本綴の4倍程度あります。この細い縦糸に横糸を綴っていくので、出来上がりは本綴より柔らかく、細かい模様を表現できるのが特徴です。
文庫本サイズですので、母子手帳や年金手帳にもご使用いただけます。
