This is a set of a kiseru (smoking pipe) case and a tobacco case.
Dragonflies have the characteristic of moving forward but never retreating, and are therefore known as "victory insects" because they are seen as brave and competitive insects. Warring States period warlords considered them to be auspicious and incorporated them into various weapons and costumes, such as armor and helmets, and they are still a popular design today.

Remove the shredded tobacco from the tobacco pouch and pack it into the pipe.
