PARANOMAD

PARANOMAD is a textile brand based in Tango, in northern Kyoto.

Inspired by the region's rich natural landscape and cultural heritage, PARANOMAD creates textiles that reflect the spirit of Tango.

Founder Miho Harada moved to Yosano Town in 2015, where she learned textile design and traditional weaving techniques. In April 2023, she opened MADO, the brand's own weaving studio and factory.

Believing that "more people should discover the treasures of Tango," she weaves the region's landscapes, culture, and everyday life into every piece. Through her work, PARANOMAD shares the beauty of Tango—from its breathtaking nature and exceptional local food to its jewel-like textiles—with people around the world.
