summer fan dragonfly burnt bamboo / no.2071

by 大西京扇堂

¥6,050

Because the dragonfly only moves forward and does not retreat, it is called "Kachimushi" by samurai warriors and is popular as an auspicious pattern.

The ribs are made of bamboo harvested from the Adogawa River in Shiga Prefecture, and the character for “Kyo” is carved open.

It's perfect for when you want to make a casual impression in the city while feeling the crisp feel of the bellows spread out on your fingers when you put your hand on the rib and spread it out.
