Fan with hanging scroll / no.1221

by 小丸屋住井

¥62,700

Three-dimensional hanging scroll for fans.
The fan is "Komaruya type cut picture Tsubotsubo".

Tsubo-tsubo is the alternate crest of the Sansenke family.

Originally, they were unglazed pots called denbo, which were bought at the first horse festival in February and buried in homes and rice fields to pray for a good harvest and prosperous business. I'm here.

Sen no Sotan, the grandson of Sen no Rikyu, believed in Fushimi Inari Shrine, so he used 'Tsubotsubo', which was a souvenir of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, as their second emblem.
