Immerse yourself in the Hand-painted Yuzen Experience Kit

There are various steps involved in hand-painted Yuzen.
With this kit, you can experience the processes of "coloring" (painting) and "water washing" (washing).
An instruction manual is also included, so you can start slowly and easily at your own pace.

The pattern is "Sho Zodiac"
To make it easier to paint the pattern, a paste made primarily from glutinous rice is applied (attached) to the outline of the pattern in advance, and this paste acts as a barrier to prevent the color from bleeding out.
Finally, wash it off to reveal a white line.
At "Irodori Sakura no Maru" you can experience Yuzen dyeing in a way that is closer to the actual process.
Spending time coloring will enrich your imagination and senses. It is also recommended as a way to relieve stress and change your mood.

Cutter knife, several newspapers, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, pressing cloth, tissue
A container for collecting water (such as a washbasin or bucket), two coloring brushes, and a painting plate. (If you have these brushes and a painting plate, you can use running water from the tap.)
