This is a small drawstring bag made from Tatsumura Art Textiles' fabric "meibutsu-gire".

What is a "meibutsu-gire"?
In the world of tea ceremony, utensils that famous tea masters, such as Sen no Rikyu, the master of wabi-cha tea, have recognized as masterpieces are called meibutsu (famous objects). The cloth used for the covers and fukusa (cloths) of these tea utensils is called meibutsu-gire (famous cloth). Many of these were imported goods from China during the Kamakura period to the early Edo period, and eventually, with the development of textile technology in Japan, Many of these textiles are heavily influenced by Indian chintz and dyed textiles from Southeast Asian countries.

The name of this cloth comes from the fact that it was owned by the wealthy Sakai merchant Itoya during the Muromachi period, and because it has a ring-shaped crest in the center, it has been called "Itoya Rinpo" Re and has been highly prized among tea masters.
