Korin onami-Korin's great wave
Ogata Korin was one of the greatest painters of the mid-Edo period. His style of painting later
came to be referred to as the "Rinpa" school, which focuses on large, decorative panels.
The concentrated and extremely simplified lines create a sense of novelty in line wtih the Rinpa style.
