Hana Karuta is a world-famous karuta masterpiece created by Japanese people from the Muromachi period to the Edo period.
This is a "luxury honzome karuta" that craftsmen put Japanese paper on each sheet and painstakingly produced it.
"High-grade real dyeing" is a method of making the back paper, which can be said to be the life of karuta. Glossy, strengthened and finished. It is a method that has been inherited as a hidden traditional technique of Kyoto for hundreds of years.
