Enjoy the soft texture of hand-woven fabrics and the colors of plants.

It is a hand-woven kobukusa with a soft texture.
You can enjoy it not only as a tea utensil, but also as a small rug for everyday use.
It is also recommended to put a vase or your favorite accessories.

Materials
Silk *Some of them are woven with gold and silver threads.

Actual size
Width x Depth = 16 cm x 15 cm

Cleaning method and handling precautions
If wrinkles are a concern, apply an iron (medium temperature) while using a pressing cloth.
The colors of plants are very delicate and can change over time. Avoid direct sunlight when storing. In addition, the color may transfer to other objects due to strong friction or wet conditions such as rain.
*Because all items are hand-woven, it is not possible to produce exactly the same item.

Hikari Shikata

She apprenticed under a master dyer in Kyoto, mastering the techniques of dyeing with vegetable dyes and plain weaving of tsumugi silk. In the spring of 2019, she became independent as a dyer and weaver.

Since then, I have been hand-weaving kimonos, obi sashes, and other everyday items, cherishing the "transparency" and "fluctuation" of the colors of plants.

The colors are drawn from encounters with seasonal plants, and each thread is handwoven, so each piece is unique.
