Kaikado, the best-selling moisture-proof tea caddy, is a long-established manufacturer of handmade tea caddies with the longest history in Japan.
This tea canister is unpainted, allowing the natural texture of the material to shine through. The unique feel and soft luster of the metal will deepen with use.
The exquisite way the lid naturally sinks into the tea canister and closes is a feature unique to handmade products.
It is also airtight and moisture-resistant, so it can be used to store items other than tea leaves, such as coffee beans, black tea leaves, and pasta, that need to be kept away from moisture.
When using, rub the entire surface with your palm and the gloss and color will change day by day.
A tea canister that has stood the test of time becomes a memorable item that evokes history.

| Care instructions and handling precautions |
・The material of the tea canister is sensitive to water, so do not wash it with water. Also, do not touch it with wet hands. If it gets wet, wipe it off immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid storing the product inside the refrigerator as it is humid and contains a lot of water.
・Gently stroke the entire surface with your palm every day. You can enjoy the unique luster and color changes of the material over time. Please be careful not to touch only part of the surface as this may cause unevenness.
When opening the lid, please hold the top part as much as possible. This will allow you to open it without using too much force. It will also prevent the lid from deforming.
・When closing the lid, align the seam line of the lid with the seam line of the body. Simply align the seams and the lid will close naturally.
