Collection: Kyozome・Kyoto Yuzen
This name comes from Miyazaki Yuzensai who compiled the ancient dyeing techniques in the late 17th century.
Currently, there are hand-painted Yuzen, which has inherited advanced techniques, and Kata Yuzen, which was invented in the early Meiji period. The appearance of kata yuzen made yuzen a commoner's item, and it established an unshakable position in Japanese clothing dyeing, which continues to this day.
This page introduces products using hand-painted yuzen techniques, kata-yuzen, and Kyoto dyeing techniques.
