Coffee cup "tobikanna" Yellow / no.2941

¥6,600This mug was made by applying the "tobikanna" (a technique in which the tip of a plane is used to create continuous carves) to the kneaded dough. The rim is decorated with crimson to create a sense of tension, and a subtle pattern stands out against the pale yellow.
The patterns emerge from the carved grooves with varying shades of glaze.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
It also makes a great gift.
