"Mica printing" is a technique in which glossy powder such as mica is sprinkled on the surface of the printed paint before it dries to create a glittering effect. In the old days, the woodblock was rubbed with egg white, sprinkled with mica powder, and after drying, the excess powder was shaken off.

Currently, Tokuriki Print Museum uses its own technique to reproduce mica printing.

There are three different patterns: Cloisonne (unbleached), Torai Shimamon (white), and Aoi (white). All of them are simple but timeless designs. You can use it properly according to the purpose.

Of course, it can be used for tea and dinner, but it can also be used as a small wrapping paper, memo paper, or a one-stroke notepad, so it is very convenient.
In recent years, more and more people are incorporating kaishi into their daily lives.
