This work by Touto-gama, a kiln located in the mountains of Kyoto, captures the movements of cats in a single moment, making them look as if they could come to life at any moment.

~Sleeping and wait for the family heirloom~

A cat's face looks so happy when it's sleeping, it makes you feel happy just looking at it. With that gentle expression, it seems to be leisurely inviting good fortune.

It is said that a cat with its left paw raised will invite people.

The body is decorated with patterns inspired by the decorations of shrines and temples and Nishijin textiles.
