This work by Toudogama, a kiln located in the mountains of Kyoto, captures the movements of cats in a single moment, making them look as if they could come to life at any moment.

The beautiful, transparent eyes are expressed with glaze, and each piece is unique, with their expression only visible after firing.

The patterns on the body are inspired by the decorations of shrines and temples and Nishijin textiles.
