This work by Touto-gama, a kiln located in the mountains of Kyoto, captures the movements of cats in a single moment, making them look as if they could come to life at any moment.

This beckoning cat has a cat-like appearance, with an elegant expression and posture.

The beautiful, transparent eyes are expressed with glaze, and each piece is unique, with their expression only visible after firing.

It is said that a cat with its left paw raised invites people.

The pattern on the body was painted using copper glaze, inspired by a calico cat.
