つづれ織というと、本綴、綴錦、爪掻綴、明綴など様々ありますが、明綴織は縦糸がとても細く、1寸辺りの縦糸の数が本綴の4倍程度あります。この細い縦糸に横糸を綴っていくので、出来上がりは本綴より柔らかく、細かい模様を表現できるのが特徴です。
日用品として身近に感じていただきたいと名刺入れを制作されました。ICカードなど入れて、定期入れとしてもお使い頂けます。
