The work of Japanese dyeing and weaving artist Inagaki Toshijiro (1902-1963) has been printed by Mikumo Woodblock Print Company.
In general woodblock prints, different blocks are used depending on the color to be printed, but in Mikumo Woodblock Prints, the paint is applied to a single block in different places and the colors are printed over and over again. This technique expresses the nuances of Inagaki Toshijiro's style and playfulness.
