Pop up Soo Kiln

Soryu Wakuba, the 4th generation of the Wakunami family who inherited the techniques of the first generation Suwa Sozan, who was a leading figure in Kyoto ware Seiji during the Meiji and Taisho periods, and Madoka from the Koishiwara ware (Fukuoka) pottery. Soba Kiln was launched.

Craftsmen who have inherited the techniques of Kyo-yaki/Kiyomizu-yaki in Kyoto and Koishiwara-yaki in Fukuoka fuse their respective techniques, and work together as a husband and wife to create innovation called Soryugama.
