Sayagata - Gauze weave
The saya-gata pattern is a repeating pattern of a Sanskrit swastika squashed diagonally and is thus also called "manji-kuzushi" (squashed swastika) or "kaminari-mon-tsunagi" (linked lightning pattern).
The repeating, geometrical design of the pattern symbolizes unending, continuous long life and family prosperity.
