This is a summer Kyoto folding fan that cheerfully cuts out the Yamahoko Junko of the Gion Festival, which has been popular for a long time since the Gion Goryoe, which is said to have started in the 5th year of the Jogan era.
The playful touch of the yamahoko parade is sprinkled on the soft yet light-colored base paper, creating a refreshing yet warm feeling.
