Kinsai is a general term for the technique of adhering gold and silver foil, metal powder, etc. to a kimono. It is used for the purpose of accentuating the designs and colors and for gorgeous decoration, and is one of the characteristics of Kyo-Yuzen. "Coaster -Aya-" decorates the table with a refreshing impression and creates special hospitality for important customers.
We manufacture each piece from a small amount of kimono material. Each one is a one-of-a-kind item made by a skilled craftsman with over 50 years of work experience. It is almost impossible to create the same design (in the same arrangement) on the same fabric. One point is a valuable item like a limited item. (The color, pattern, and fabric of the product may differ from the image.)
With a water-repellent finish that is also stain resistant, if it gets dirty, just wipe it off and it will be clean. You can use it repeatedly for a long time. (If the spilled liquid dries, it will leave marks. Wipe it off before it dries.)
