The chic design, rendered in soft green tones, gently depicts the elegant atmosphere of the Gion Festival.

The main ribs of the fan are made from bamboo harvested in Adogawa, Shiga Prefecture. Featuring a pierced carving of the character “京” (Kyoto) and adorned with a Kyo-yaki ceramic bead at the pivot, this fan—named Rakufusen, inspired by the scenic spots and seasonal traditions of Kyoto—is an original creation of Onishi Kyo-Sendo, handcrafted for over half a century.

Perfect for pairing with summer yukata or kimono, it’s also a stylish item to keep in your summer bag for daily use. An excellent gift for anyone who loves Kyoto.
